Youtube
Youtube was found on February 14, 2005. has more than 2.6 billion active users. Google bought youtube for $1.65 billion just a year and a half after it launched. It has been nearly 15 years ever since google bought youtube. There are 98 different versions of youtube in the whole entire world.
Jawed Karim is a software engineer. He was the very first person to create a youtube channel. Jawed Karim actually also created Youtube. Youtube is the 2nd largest search engine next to google. When youtube had been found on february 14 2005 it was released on december 15 2005.
Tiktok
Tiktok is an active app that has more than 1 billion users. Tiktok has been downloaded more than 3 billion times. The app tik tok is 12 and up. Tiktok was created and released on september 2016. Zhang Yiming is the creator and owner of Tiktok.
Charli d’amelio is the most followed and famous person on tiktok. The meaning of Tiktok is said to represent the short, snappy videos on the Platform. 18% of all internet users use tiktok.
Facebook bought instagram for $1 billion in 2012. Instagram was created and launched on 6th of october 2010. It was launched 12 years ago.
On Instagram there are 25,000 users in one day. On Instagram the most liked photo is a photo of a egg, and was achieved by the instagram account “World_record_egg” Posted by the egg gang, With 55,746,040 likes, as of 1st of february 2022.
Highlight for Term 2
My Highlight for term 2 was the Epro8s. Room 8 had gotten split up into 6 groups. My group was Mama’d,Neomi,Luisa and selesa. Our group name was Donkey clan.
We did the Epro8s on the 10th of June. For our challenge for the epro8s we had to build a scarecrow. For our Scarecrow we had a kit. It had Large,Medium and small rods. We had screwdrivers and screws. We had 4 tires.
For the epro8s we had spots we could work at We could work at the tables or on the mat. My group had chosen to work at our desks. Before we started building we had to read the instructions on how tall it had to be and what we had to try to do.
For our task to build the scarecrow, we had to try to make the scarecrow move by itself and try to balance the scarecrow. We also had to try to make the scarecrows’ arms move.
When we were building the scarecrows we were building our scarecrows during the middle block. We were building the scarecrows where our classroom is Room 8.
On the 14th of june we were judging the scarecrows. Our scarecrow name was Billy bob. The team Black thunder had won the competition but the real challenging thing was building the scarecrow while working as a team.
